  • Overview

    Primary POC for tracking current configuration of both hardware and software to include software settings of all JNOSC managed devices.  Hosts forum to review proposed changes.  Upon approval of changes, ensures Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is updated to reflect new configuration.

    Responsibilities

    *Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, working methods and tools, including configuration management of computer systems, networks, workstations, software development activity, performance tool development, distribution, and applications distribution.

    *Shall ensure the configuration management process is implemented and maintained according to guidelines from the process owner.

    *Shall keep appropriate databases updated to accurately reflect system baselines, and perform audits on such database to ensure effectiveness of controls.

    *Shall provide continuous coordination of progress on actions, tasking, and issues.

    *Shall review and edit applicable technical documentation.

    *Shall establish and maintain both new and existing schedules, respectively, and implement and improve the CM process, working methods and tools.

    *Shall liaise with customers to ensure requirements are met and ensure the CMDB integrity.

    *Shall implement approved changes to CMDB structure including attributes and relationships.

    *Shall plan a schedule of independent audits and perform audits on the CMDB, comparing its contents with the actual IT infrastructure.

    *Shall produce and issue management reports from CMDB. Develop standards, guidelines and SOPs to guide the use of the Request for Change (RFC) & Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) process.

    *Shall process on a regular cycle discrepancy reports, requirements, build reports, technical investigation reports, request for changes, operation change requests.

    *Shall maintain CMDB; updates processed within 72 hours of approval or publication.

    *Shall create and maintain an RFC and ASI process SOP.

    *Facilitate Technical Review Boards (TRB), Change Control Boards (CCBs), and Change Advisory Boards (CAB), to include publication of agenda, attendee notification, entry of board-related data into appropriate databases, and identification and troubleshooting of problems.

    *Contractor shall collect and gather all Requests for Change (RFC) for Change Control Board (CCB) evaluation.

    *Contractor shall receive new technology, equipment, and/or services documentation for presentation and preparation for the Technical Review Board (TRB).

    *Contractor shall provide meeting minutes, outcomes, and maintain associated presentation/briefing documentation for consolidation toward Records Management.

    *Contractor will hold TRBs, CCBs, and CABs according to mission requirements and/or monthly.

    Qualifications

    • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
    • Contractor shall have 3 years of experience overseeing Change Management Procedures
    • Contractor shall possess an ITIL Foundations certification
    • Contractor shall possess strong organizational skills.
    • Contractor will have a strong IT background and be able to demonstrate an understanding of networking and systems concepts.
    • Contractor shall have strong people skills with the ability to work with varying stakeholders.
    • Contractor shall be able to decipher project needs and translate those needs into understandable terms that can be presented during Technical Review Boards (TRBs), Change Control Board (CCBs), and Change Advisory Boards (CABs).
