    DataPath, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Manager to handle moderate to high risk to the business unit for both Government and Commercial contracts. Contracts and Sub-Contracts activities may require development and utilization of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives. Role may additionally require establishment of new contract policies and processes or assessment of required deviations from established norm.





    Roles and Responsibilities:


    • Review complex solicitations and prepare specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
    • Analyze significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure, and communicates results to subordinates.
    • Develop negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complex contractual issues.
    • Analyze new law, regulation, and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
    • Provide authoritative guidance to internal business teams and contract subordinates on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
    • Focal point for all communications regarding legal, finance, and business team disciplines for resolution of contract issues and disputes.
    • Assist in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policies and processes.
    • Creates, prepares, reviews and edits contracts, new work orders, amendments, modifications and change orders of a high to medium complexity level and contract risk type. Analyzes documents to determine corporate risk; prepares and provides alternative approaches to mitigate the risk.

    • Maintains contractual documents, files, correspondence, meeting minutes and other appropriate and applicable documents and corresponding logs.





    Minimum Requirements:

    • US Citizenship is required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related career field from an accredited institution with 10 years of experience, or 15 years of experience in lieu of degree.
    • 10+ years’ FAR/DFAR experience in contracts and subcontracts, as well as international defense contracts/subcontracts experience. 
    • Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.


    Preferred Requirements:

    • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (NCMA) preferred, but not required.
    • Active SECRET security clearance preferred, but not required.
    • Advanced degree highly desirable.
